This is where the Overwater family lived and farmed for over a century until Fort Whyte Alive obtained the property. They grew many crops including potatoes, spinach, sugar beets and what was described as the sweetest corn ever.
The piece of farm equipment on this spot was used by the family at one time to work the ground.
