It’s All About Me Two - Too - To
As a nod to my loyal fan base, I present the third in the “Its All About Me” series. Caches based very loosely around my favourite subject, me.
As we get older, things change, not always for the better. For example, I have noticed my hair has started to thin a little. As if that wasn’t enough, I have been told that I have become less tolerant but more belligerent, grumpy and stuck in my ways. Of course, I’m not putting up with that, I flatly refuse to acknowledge that and never will.
One of the things that has really started to grind my monkey is the use of “text speak”, mainly by the young. This slow but unabated slaughter of our precious written and spoken word is an assault on us all. It is getting to the point that I am unable to effectively communicate with a large proportion of humans significantly younger than me.
So I thought I would vent my frustration by setting a task that encourages the correct use and spelling of words. Let this be a lesson for the young but just a trivial obstacle for the mature.
