Those who visit Tanjung Tuan know there is a lot to say about it... sure the tables and wooden paths that were once placed to accommodate visitors are being reclaimed by nature, but as far as fauna and flora goes, the place is by and large intact and well worth a visit. Those in the know go through the effort get to the hidden beaches, which are much nicer than those frequented by the masses around nearby Port Dickson, while others visit to get to the caches hidden here. It is almost guaranteed that you will not walk away without a story to tell, and one of those stories might very well involve the stairs leading down from the lighthouse to Treasure Beach. For most of us, walking down would be easy enough, it is however the climb back up that you will remember, after all, there is a reason why these stairs are referred to as the "Stairs of Repentance".
