Merlin is a monster who likes to drink from the nearby spring in the beautiful pine forest near Sky Hill. Pine cones can be found scattered around, evidence of his presence. Legend has it that rare mushrooms grow in the forest, Merlin's favorite snack. One day, while he was drinking from the spring, he smelled something delicious in the air. He followed his nose and found a patch of rare mushrooms. He was so excited that he ate them all and fell asleep under a nearby tree. When he woke up, he saw a group of people who were afraid of him. Merlin realized that he needed to be more friendly if he wanted to make new friends. He decided to share his mushrooms with the people and they were amazed by how delicious they were. From that day on, Merlin could often be seen wandering around the forest, sharing his favorite snack with anyone who was willing to try it. He had finally found a way to make new friends while still enjoying his favorite things.
This cache is up the hill from the carpark/road. when you get to the hairpin bend go through the gate and head up the hill. When you get thurther up the path forks into 4 take the second on the left path it's quite hidden with bushes. And carry on this path. Thanks to DEFA for the permission and always stick to their rules
