Cameron's Folly 2.0 is created in memory of GC866. For statistics lovers; Camerons Folly was Malaysia's 1st geocache, and supposedly the 1864th published geocache in the world.
The original cache was placed on exactly the same coordinates, 22 years ago. At the time it required a bit of a scramble through vigorous tropical shrubbery to get to it. The CO admitted that this was not the prettiest location, and this statement holds true today! The shrubbery has firmly established itself, and as much as I/we would like to add Malaysia's oldest cache to our finds, it would require some serious bushwhacking to get to the original location with little or no guarantee that, a good 14 years after it was last found, anything remains to be recovered.
In order to be able to recycle the original coordinates whilst eliminating the scramble through dense vegetation, Cameron's Folly 2.0 has been turned in to a super easy Mystery Cache.
