When a well-designed geocache makes us smile with delight, it can feel like magic. With that spirit in mind, Geocaching HQ announced the Maker Magic, a celebration of creative cache hides that may inspire you to create a wonderful new cache of your own.
for this "Show and Tell" gathering we can:
- describe caches that have inspired us (supported by photos and examples where possible)
- share design and construction techniques used on our caches that have attracted multiple favourite points
- share techniques for building and enhancing the presentation of caches (durability, camouflage and mounting techniques etc)
- share plans we are developing for creating special caches, inviting suggestions where we need some inspiration to get around some technical or presentation issues, and
- share anything else that would encourage all of us to create special caches
It would be great if the session encourages participants to complete the design, construction and placement of some creative caches that could be published in Spring or Summer 2023.
This Event is part of a special series highlighting high quality caches. Geocachers who log “Attended” on this Event will receive the official Maker Magic souvenir.
