Enjoy the view like the residents of both Fort St. Frédéric and the British Fort. This location is downhill from an area that once was the site of a bustling village with a few dozen buildings, complete with homes, a tavern, an apothecary (pharmacy), a store, and a blacksmith shop. Many retired soldiers and soldiers on active duty lived there, right outside the fort.
