Many years ago Lehmann Oval was a functioning sports centre for Little Athletics and school sports carnivals. It is a very isolated oval, and had a bridge over Cabramatta Creek behind the still standing brick building. The bridge is long gone now, vandals ended up ruining the sports canteen, along with lots of other infrastructure. Very little is left of the sports centre, except for two disused light towers and some telecommunication equipment.
Now for the cache, I used two pieces of equipment to place the cache, a ladder and a 9m squid pole. The cache is about 12m off the ground, and it took me two attempts over two days and lots of frustration to put it in place. PLEASE REPLACE THE CACHE BACK ON THE CORRECT PEG. Do not come on a windy day, or during heavy rain. I would advise to have someone come with you to watch where the cache will/may fall into the long grass, both retrieving and replacing!
