Â
In 2020, when the pandemic  (you know the one) came to Planet Earth, our local group of far northwest Washington "maybe" middle aged geocachers began meeting via ZOOM every Friday evening. This started as a small group women and has grown over the past three (3!?!) years. A couple of men have joined us, too.  We started with themes, such as Spa Day. We've had questions such as; What was your first car? What was your dream job?, etc. We have even heartily debated important world issues such as; Does the toilet paper go over or under? 🧻 Our group was overwhelmingly in the OVER category. 🧻 Often, we are found "fixing" toilet paper installations in hotels and AirBnBs.  🧻 Who knew there was such important work to do in the world?
For you "challenge" people, we represent Washington, Oklahoma and California in the US and British Columbia to the north. Skagit, Island, Whatcom, King and San Juan Island Counties have been present.  We have a few members with a really big number of 😊 !  We enjoy our brewery and CITO events and have some VERY creative and prolific hiders among us.Â
The ZOOMIES have shared a variety triumphs and trials over the past three years; we've supported each other as best we are able. Â During COVID and continuing on, I very much look forward to our gathering each Friday evening and am so thankful for this hilarious, intelligent group of puzzle solving, cache finding, cookie baking, world traveling wonderful people! We often stamp or sign as Gotcha Gang, GG or It's US!
