Geocache Description:


The Rowville-Lysterfield Community Newspaper is a community wide, monthly published newsletter and e-newsletter for the people of the Rowville/Lysterfield area. The first newsletter was published in September 1981, and is a solely volunteer newsletter written to keep the residents of the Rowville and Lysterfield area up to date with events and news happening in the region, such as local sports results, council plans for local parks, upcoming social events and much more. 

 

The Cache: 

WP1 will bring you to a local ANZAC memorial for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in times of conflict, out the front of the very popular Stud Park Shopping Centre. All the information required for the final location is located on this memorial. 

AB = The date that the memorial was unveiled.

CDEF = The year that the memorial was unveiled. 

G = The man who unveiled the memorial:
If it was Mr Noel Hawthorn, G = 6

If it was Mr John Stewart, G = 7

If it was Mr Paul Kane, G = 3

H = The MP at the time of the memorials unveiling:
If it was Mr Michael Towns MP, H = 1

If it was Mr Gerald Keane MP, H = 8

If it was Mr Peter Nugent MP, H = 0
