Geocache Description:

"Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine."

Although it was Simon and Garfunkel who popularized Scarborough Fair, it is actually a traditional English ballad. The song lists a number of impossible tasks given to a former lover who lives in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, hence the title of the song - Scarborough Fair.

But why "parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme"?

For the Romans, parsley was a symbol of death and rebirth often used to decorate tombs; sage was a healing herb and thought to impart immortality and wisdom; rosemary was the herb of remembrance used both at weddings and funerals; thyme was said to give courage.

Arriving at GZ, you will find the container. You will also find parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, but which is which? In order to access the log, you will need to use your sense of smell to determine the combination for the lock!

Please return all items as found so that the next geocacher can enjoy this cache in the manner the CO intended. Thank you!
