Great news? We are currently at capacity for people wanting to design. If you are interested in coming to chat and watch, there is still room to drop in. Looks like we'll have to do this again!
3D printed containers are becoming a popular style of hide these days. They can come in all shapes, sizes and colours making them the perfect custom hide.
Join us at the Albert Campbell District Library Digital Innovation Hub to learn a little about the process and how to design your own 3D printed tube. The Digital Design Technician will help you as needed with the design. The actual printing of the container will be done for pick up at a later date. Printing fees will apply.
Equipment is limited to 16 terminals (option to share device if needed), so if you have a laptop to bring and do some basic design work on, this increases the potential attendance. There is no requirement to actually make a container. You are welcome to stop by and chat after 6:30.
Please note in your Will Attend how many are in your party, your intention to design a container or not and if you'll bring your own laptop. If there is interest, we'll look at having another session on how to design a more complicated container.
Event has been marked as a Maker Magic event for the special souvenir.
Note - no food or drink is allowed in the Digital Innovation Hub, water is fine but everything else requires you to step outside the design area to consume.
