I've been trying out various cache containers for Cachin' the Bay 2023, but this one didn't make the cut. Still, it's perfectly good and needs a home! I explored this park recently, and it's a great place to go for a big view with a short hike. The cache is only about 5-10 minutes from the nearest parking, but if you want to see the view, you'll have to take another 5-10 minutes and head up to the top of the hill.
You're looking for a small Snaplock container hidden a few feet from trail. Look for a tree with a cache-sized hole in the base.
Guadalupe Oak Grove Park is open from 8 AM to sunset daily. Dogs on leash are allowed, but bicycles are not. Happy hunting!
