Placed in honor of this location's original cache, "I like overpriced groceries".
This cache has an incredibly special place carved out in my heart, it was the first cache I ever found and introduced me to the untethered, boundless wonder of the GeoWorld. I'll never forget leaving my home on a whim during a seemingly endless rainstorm and getting soaked while scanning the perimeter for the coveted treasure. It was a definitive before and after in my life. My heart broke when I saw the original was archived, and I couldn't rest without seeing its legacy honored and continued, so that future Geonerations may experience what I did on that fateful eve.
The original cache was placed in 2016 & stood for over 7 years. Here this cache now stands, rising from the ashes like a phoenix. Inhabiting the original shell of the first cache, complete with a fresh new faceplate and a pill bottle with a painted design by local artist "Stargirl".
I couldn't be prouder to have this as my first hide, please enjoy this cache as I once did.

NOTE: As some folks have mentioned, the bottle does not have a cap. Rest assured this is not an error, as unfortunately, the bottle wouldn't fit into the container with its cap on. Fortunately, the container protects the bottle and the log inside from the elements. So no worries!
