This event will highlight The Maker Magic

*** Your Event is now part of a special series highlighting high quality caches. Geocachers who log “Attended” on your Event will receive the official Maker Magic souvenir.***
Since there was such a good response to the first class, we are going to do it again. More time has been added after the presentation for questions and discussion.
This event will walk you through the cache publication / submission process from beginning to end and cover Geocaching Guidelines, Missouri Wiki and the HQ Help Center, as well general, state, and local cache-hiding regulations, taking questions as we go. We will also give specific tips for getting your cache published as quickly and painlessly as possible. Bring your questions about aspects of cache placement and publication.
In detail, we will first go over and cover the geocaching guidelines, being sure to cover the permission process and show people different techniques on getting permission from businesses. We will also cover how to pick a good container and how hide your container in plain sight to get more favorite points.
Second we will cover the Missouri Wiki and go over the rules given to us from Missouri State and local offices.
Next we will show you how to use the Help Center and how it can answer almost any question you may have when hiding a cache.
During the remaining time, we will go over ways to make a simple gadget cache to help boost your favorite points and getting ideas from the crowd. Ideas like putting your container inside another container that is designed to look like it belongs in that area.
Whether you are an experienced hider or new to the game, we encourage you to attend. You might be surprised at what you learn or be able to contribute to the discussion.
