Geocache Description:

Foreman Firetrack

The Foreman Fire Track extends from the Heysen Trail and Cox Creek north up the hill in the Mount George Conservation Park. The firetrack is nestled behind the Stirling Golf Club. You will have fantastic views if it wasn't for the trees.

The following defines an anticlockwise path (from above).  You can also do it clockwise if you wish. I recommend approaching from the Heysen Trail near the golf course. Turn left at Scouting for Balls (see WP) then there is a significant elevation gain to get to #1.  From there you will head to #2 and then #3.  After #3, I recommend you follow the fence line where the kangaroos have left a well-defined trail. This is the easiest and safest way. When you see the rocky outcrop, you can head over there once at the same elevation.  Be safe on the rocks, the cache is tucked in there somewhere.

You are looking for a custom PVC tube painted black. Please ensure ALL lids are done up tight for the next cacher, as did the cacher before you.  Please cover well.

When leaving, there is a path directly down the hill to a golf fairway, see the additional waypoint to know where to aim for. You will encounter some blackberries encroaching the path in the last 20m so take care. The Stirling Golf Course is a public course, but please give way to, and be mindful of golfers.
