Art has always played a large role in the Carbon Corridor, so it was fitting that one of the newest murals in the area is dedicated to sharing our history. Measuring at the length of nearly a whole city block, you will not be able to miss the one-of-a-kind Bookcliff Mural by local artist Kate Kilpatrick.
Across the 434 feet you will find the story of how mining shaped our area and the people who came here because of it, and you can follow the timeline all the way up to now with a tribute to the USUE Eagles.
Fun fact: It took about 900 cans of spray paint to create this mural.
This geocache, part of the Carbon Corridor SPX GeoTour, was placed with permission of Bookcliff Workwear.
