This geocache was hidden during our recent vacation to the Southwest. After finding the Treasure Over the Valley geocache, we hid this one in the same general part of the forest, but far enough away to be very different. Dedicated geocachers can do them both in a single day.
Follow the general street directions to the Treasure Over the Valley geocache. Park in the same place. However, continue along the main trail for some distance until you reach a "cross" of stones at N 35 degrees 02.531 minutes, and W 106 degrees 23.178 minutes. At that point, you will encounter a rock climb, which could be difficult for some people. That's why it's rated a 2.5 overall. The geocache is hidden under a rock ledge, behind a scrub bush. 8/24/02. Hello! We are the owners of the East Meets West Geocache. We want to thank the "unacorns" for replacing our original tupperware container with a brand new ammo box, which looks absolutely awesome in the picture! We are really happy that so many people have found their way to this geocache.
