Located in the Greenwood Conservation Area, on Westney road, north of Ajax.
This is a less travelled area of Greenwood and a very pleasant spot.
There are several ways to approach this cache. If you try coming in from the north (Church St. and 5th Concession area) the terrain difficulty will be 4.25 due to some extremely steep slopes. Avoid this approach during inclement weather or if you have children with you.
For a nice hike, try the southern route. Take Westney Road north from Highway 401 and watch for the signs for the Greenwood Conservation Area, north of Taunton Rd. Follow the signs to the gate, noting the closing time. If it is not too close to closing time, go through the gate, keeping to the left and on to the parking lot. Park outside the gate if closing time is near.) Below the lot is the sign for the Duffins Creek Trail.
If you follow the creek from the south, you will come to a recent landslide. There is a new trail closer to the water to get around this.
The cache is a clear 2.2 litre tupperware with a blue lid. The cache contains the usual odds and ends.
