This xploration spot has a small quantity of visitors, but is a hidden gem with nearly 50 miles of trails that wind through the desert landscape, along the mesas, and offer gorgeous views of the canyon below with the Book Cliffs lining the horizon.
While these trails are perfect for hiking, mountain bikers travel from all around the state to enjoy the varying trail difficulty levels that can be grouped together to create a unique circuit fit for any rider. If you are planning to hit the trails, whether on a bike or on foot, visitors should pay attention to the weather because it may change rapidly. Prepare for high temperatures by planning to ride early or late in the day to avoid midday heat. Carry rain gear or outerwear in preparation of sudden storms or strong winds. Do not attempt these trails during a lightning storm.
