Volunteers are needed! We are looking for people to help with the setup and clean up afterwards. If you arrive early, you will be put to work.
Riverview Park encompasses 11-acres and was acquired in 1979 with Community Development Block Grant funds. It is now a vital part of the city's Cedar River Greenway System.
The Cedar River Greenway encompasses over 550 acres of developed and undeveloped parks, open space, trails, and the Maplewood Golf Course along the Cedar River.
A picnic shelter is nestled between the bank of the Cedar River and the Cedar River Trail. The shelter and park are accessed from the parking lot by crossing the new bridge over the Cedar River. A restroom is located on-site.
This event is sponsored by the Washington State Geocaching Association and is open to all geocachers: Puget Sound area cachers and visitors, WSGA members and non members, seasoned cachers and newcomers, families are always welcomed. So come eat, visit friends and meet some new folks, trade caching secrets, and enjoy the day!
