Geocache Description:

By invitation of Stony Stratford Parish Council & also with kind permission of The Keynes Parks Trust we have placed some geocaches in the area to help newcomers to geocaching an opportunity to locate some caches.

This geocache is known as a 'multi' or a multi-stage geocache.
The way to find a multi cache you first need to visit the first location marker shown on the map. This is 'Stage One'

Stage One

At this location you should be able to find a bench with a memorial plaque to 'Edward Piers Ormerod'

If the two dates are 19.07.ABCD & X.YZ.2021 You need to replace the values seen on the bench of ABCDXY&Z to solve this equation.

N5Z 0X.XY(D+X) W000 5A.C(C+D-A)B

The result is your new coordinates of the final stage (also known as 'Ground Zero' or G.Z). If you add the solved coordinates to the waypoints section of the cache you can be guided to the cache location.

Good luck in your endeavours.

(At the time of placing the cache has a logbook in it which must remain with the cache, as well as a few trinkets that are known as 'stash' items. 'Stash' items are there to be traded. General the etiquette is to take one item out & replace it with another. Please do not add sweets or food items that could attract or harm wildlife, thank you.)
