The 2023 WGA Fall Campout will be held at Blue Mound State Park!

Perched atop the highest point in southern Wisconsin, Blue Mound State Park offers spectacular views along with unique geological features. Blue Mound is the only Wisconsin State Park with a swimming pool and splash pad. With over 15 miles of trails, the park is a destination for off-road cyclists and cross-country skiers. Wooded campsites, shelters, an amphitheater, and a rustic accessible cabin for people with disabilities can all be reserved.

EVENT SCHEDULE

 

  • Check In/Registration - 9:00 - 5:00 PM
  • Nametag Pickup - 9:00 - 4:00 PM
  • Meet at Shelter to find a Group to go out and Cache With (all-day)
  • WGA Merchandise Sales - 9:00 - 4:30 PM
  • Lunch / Grills Ready - Noon
  • WGA Kidz Club activities - 2:30 - 3:30 PM
  • Chuck a Duck Game - 3:30 PM
  • Group Photo - 4:00 PM
  • WGA member meeting OPEN FORUM - 4:30 PM
  • TB/Geocoin Exchange Table - All Day

 

WHAT TO BRING TO THE EVENT

 

  • Your own meat to grill, or a lunch (if desired)
  • Table setting for your group
  • Lawn chairs if you want them
  • Beverages for your group
  • A FOOD ITEM TO SHARE (to ensure variety, please bring an item to share based on your Last Name)
    • Last name A-H - cookies or dessert
    • Last name I-P - salad, vegetable or fruit
    • Last name Q-Z - chips or snacks
