This event is a small chat and talk about caches or puzzles! If you would like to join there will be a competiton of tree climbing for all levels, branches and ages. It is a way to show off or hone in your tree climbing skills and have an absolutely arboreal time while doing so!

About this group:

The GeoTreeClimbingNSW/ACT (or GTCNSAC for short) is a Geocaching group that aims to increase the number of tree climb geocaches in NSW and the ACT and promote the activity through the geocaching community. Tree climbing is a fun and anywhere activity that you can do solo or alone and no matter your skill or fitness level, there is a climb for you! There seems to be a lot more low effort mint-tins in guard rails than fun tree climbs. There can be a tree climb anywhere and people often choose to ignore them and go for the easier, arguably less exciting spot. We would like to encourage that when you put your cache out, check if there is a fun climb nearby and if so, do your bit and give some people an experience other than a guardrail. Even if you are not a confident climber, choose something easy, better than nothing. This group is primarily for NSW and ACT areas. The main aim is so that everyone is having a fun time!
