The Old Erie Canal is expecting new boat launches and is encouraging people to make use of the canal for hiking, biking and kayaking/canoeing this summer. We suggest that cachers put in at Recognition Park to paddle this series. The round trip paddle is approximately 3.5 miles. You do not need to exit the boat to retrieve any of the containers. They are mostly pill containers, zip tied in place. They should be pretty straight forward to find. Please open the caches and sign the log without removing the containers from their locations. Most of all, have fun.
