Fairy Lake is a beautiful location for a paddle on a spring or early summer day. One can completely circumnavigate the entire lake at a leisurely rate in a couple of hours. As the summer progresses and moves into fall, the water level falls making access to some caches more problematic. In addition, you will find significant growth of the aquatic vegetation making paddling more difficult. Winter access may be possible if ice cover is adequate.
This cache is intended for access by canoe or kayak (motorized boats are not permitted on Fairy Lake). Start at the launch point listed in the additional waypoints. You can access this cache while seated in your canoe or kayak unless there has been a substantial drop in the water level.
