Geocache Description:

24 June 2023, 09:00 - 10:30

At this event we will be discussing creative and quality caches! This might be a fun story on the cache page or a cool container, a brain teasing puzzle or intriguing gadget cache, or even a unique location/scenic view.

Join us as we learn the DOs and DON'Ts of making and hiding a creative cache from our guest-speakers and get answers to the following questions:

  • What is a "creative" cache?
  • What makes a "quality" cache container? (durable, weather resistant, low maintenance, etc)
  • What are "creative and quality" options for log sheets and keeping them dry?
  • How can a good cache write-up add to the quality of a cache?
  • What are the considerations for submitting your new creative cache (location, permission, guidelines)?

We will have some creative caches for you to try your hand at before they are placed into the wild and 1 new creative cache will go live the day of the event!

Show & Tell – If you have a creative cache, container or idea you’d like to share - bring it! We’d love to see it.

Be ready to share (GC#s) about all the fun and creative caches you have hidden or found so others can enjoy them too!

Have an idea you need help developing into an awesome creative cache – this is the event for you!

Your Event is now part of a special series highlighting high quality caches. Geocachers who log “Attended” on your Event will receive the official Maker Magic souvenir.

**Note: Meet at Coldwell Banker RPM Real Estate; 609 Locust Ave; Conway
