MK23 Wildlife Trail A - Alliums
Alliums are both pretty and edible. They range from garlics, leeks and onions to delicate ornamental plants. You'll be able to spot these through spring and early summer at many of our parks and woods. There are over 850 different species so we won't expect you to find them all! They're very useful for moths and butterflies serving as food for the larvaes which in turn benefits the birds.

This is one of 26 caches celebrating the flora and fauna of Milton Keynes, it's not just concrete cows and roundabouts. How many of our different plants and animals can you spot in our City? Please do add photos to yours logs
All the caches are on a walk near Willen Lake and can be easily navigated. They are all available from running the Wherigo cartridge which is available here: MK23 Wildlife Trail
Thank you to the Parks Trust and MKGees for their help and permission to set these caches.
