MK23 Wildlife Trail B - Bluebells
You'll have seen blankets of Bluebells in many places and the woods of Milton Keynes are no different. The image below is from Howe Wood in the west of the City. Did you know they're also called Witches' Thimbles and Cuckoo's Boots? Whilst most of a blue colour there are also varieties that are white and pink. Generally seen as a sign of spring they flower in April and May and feed the bees and butterflies.

This is one of 26 caches celebrating the flora and fauna of Milton Keynes, it's not just concrete cows and roundabouts. How many of our different plants and animals can you spot in our City? Please do add photos to yours logs
All the caches are on a walk near Willen Lake and can be easily navigated. They are all available from running the Wherigo cartridge which is available here: MK23 Wildlife Trail
Thank you to the Parks Trust and MKGees for their help and permission to set these caches.
