SherrillBrook Park is an amazing diamond in the middle of New Hartford, NY. It has an open area featuring a dog park,basketball, soccer, playground & picnic pavilions, plus green space & nature trails as part of our recreation program, Sherrillbrook Town Park is open throughout the winter months with several cross-country ski trails. It recently started hosting farmers markets. It has bathrooms and it open sunrise to sunset. From the watertower to the trails there is always something to do whether alone or with family. There are sitting areas everywhere and pavillions for grilling and or parties. Basically all the features of a state park but in town form.
I remember building a tepee in the woods as a kid from logs on the ground playing Pokemon go and just coming to the park for fresh air and peace and quiet.
This is a funny Forest of different kinds of trees to give you some shade while caching and enjoy the ambiance of nature. The GPS due to dense tree forest is a bit bouncy making it an extra challenge. Hence the bremuda treeangle. (Bermuda Triangle)
This is a 4 lock ziplock container that is big enough for some swag, log book, trackables and a small pencil or cut down pen
