If you really want to feel that you’ve done this cache, park at N 46º25.826’, W 117º01.965’ not blocking the gate. Climb through the fence and stroll a hundred meters or so down the road, then over the fence next to the small gate. Head up, and you’ll find the cache is probably not exactly where you expected. The Force will suggest a location and the satellite coverage was very good when the cache was placed. You won’t be able to see the cache without doing a little work.
To get down, I would suggest that you go up. See what you can C, hit the tower, and loop back onto the main trail. It’s about a four-mile hike, round trip.
You can also get to this cache from the OSH. If you try the shortcut straight down from the top, you will hit posted land, so please avoid this.
I may not have put in a PENCIL, so please bring one.
