Here's a group you likely have never heard of. Formed in the aftermath of the brutal civil war in Rwanda, The Good Ones' message is all about love, healing and positivity.
In their original lineup, formed just a few years after the genocide, the trio had one member from each of the three main tribes: the Tutsi, Hutu and Abatwa.
The instrumentation goes back to their origins in Rwanda's poor farming regions, with an acoustic guitar accompanied by percussion created using farm tools, and with a focus on vocal harmonies.
The overall sound is simple, but powerfully emotional.
