This is a simple two-stage multi that starts in History Park and ends in Kelley Park. When History Park is closed, stage 1 can be done from the sidewalk just outside on Senter Road.
This multi starts at the "Stephen's Meat Products" dancing pig sign. For decades, this iconic sign marked the location of the former Stephen's Meat Products near the Diridon station in downtown San Jose. In November 2022, the sign was relocated to History Park for safekeeping during the construction of Google's new Downtown West campus. It's unknown if and when the sign will be moved back to its original location.
To get the final coordinates, you will need to do some counting and some simple math.
- At the bottom of each side of the sign is a narrow yellow strip with light bulbs. There are 3 colors of lightbulbs: yellow, light orange, and red-orange. Count the red-orange lightbulbs on each side of the sign. (Each number is a single digit.)
- The number of red-orange lightbulbs on the north side = A
- The number of red-orange lightbulbs on the south side = B
- The cache is located at N 37° 19.BA0' W 121° 51.1AB'
You're looking for a micro cache with camo that looks like something an industrious little pig might live in.
The final is located on the trail around the Kelley Park disc golf course. Please stay on the trail and do not walk through the disc golf course. Kelley Park hours are 8 a.m. to half-hour after sunset. Dogs are allowed on leash.
