SLO:
Tu naletimo do polomljenega drevja in le steška bomo nadaljevali pot.
ENG:
This is the highest waterfall in the area, as the stream flows over a steep stone wall as much as 15m deep. Unfortunately, few people know about him. It is definitely worth a visit. It is fairly accessible and the ravine in which the waterfall is located is picturesque in itself. You just have to stop and look carefully around you.
ACCESS: Just a few minutes' walk from Železniki, along the road along the left bank of the Sore up to the bridge over the river. Before the bridge, turn towards the last house in the settlement and immediately after it, along the almost always dry stream, up into the gorge. The waterfall is not marked, and only the stream leads us towards it. Don't let the dry river bed confuse us and distract us from the path, because even with bad water conditions, the waterfall is worth a visit. If we visit immediately after heavy rains, we will be surprised by two rather "powerful" waterfalls. After just a few minutes of walking along the left side of the river bed, we come to accumulated logs rotting from moisture, which many years ago someone "forgot" or they were somehow stacked there by a long-ago storm. The river bed becomes more watery here and also appear the first of the smaller jumps. On the left side of the ascent we are accompanied by a stone wall, on the right by a steep bank. After a fifteen-minute walk from the last houses, we come to stone ledges over which a stream falls 4 m deep. Next comes the lower waterfall, which flows along a wall overgrown with moss about 15 m deep. If we return to the logs, we can climb along the left bank of the stream along the overgrown track all the way to the top of the first waterfall. Here we will come across a broken tree and we will only continue our path. After only a few meters we will reach a wall overgrown with moss, along which at a low water level, a feeble stream crawls along a 5-meter-high stone wall overgrown with moss.
