Ghost-Spider
Ghost-Spider is known as Spider-Gwen by her fans. Gwen Stacey was the girllfriend of Peter Parker until she was killed by the Green Goblin in Amazing Spider-Man #121, an issue that I have in my collection. That issue is considered a major moment in the history of comics.
This Gwen Stacey is actually not the same person but another Gwen from a different universe. In her universe she received the spider powers and was unable to save her friend Peter Parker. She then vowed to save everyone else that she could.
Spider-Gwen was a featured character in the Academy Award winning 2018 film, "Spider-Man, Into the Spider-Verse. She will also appear in the upcoming 2023 sequel... "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse". Hailee Steinfeld provides the voice for Gwen in these animated films.
