Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the official “Discover Mission Viejo GeoTour GT4D8” which will lead visitors to discover trails, parks, and other prominent locations throughout Mission Viejo.  Those who complete the tour will be eligible to receive a GeoCoin for their achievement by completing the GeoTour passport and finding code words.  Passports and instructions can be found here: Geocaching | City of Mission Viejo

You will need a tool of the trade (TOTT) to assist with obtaining the log and bring your own pen (BYOP).  Not much room for swag but once you grab it, head in to the golf club and grab a drink or a bite to eat at O'Neill's.  You've earned it!

The City of Mission Viejo has three golf courses.  The Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club is a public-access daily fee facility featuring an 18-hole championship-length golf course designed by PGA Tour professional Tom Lehman and well-respected local golf course architect, Casey O’Callaghan. Set amidst Trabuco Creek and The Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo, the 240-acre Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club provides an unforgettable golf experience on par with South Orange County's finest high-end clubs.

If you are looking for a great trail... this is it.  Enjoy this 16.4-mile out-and-back trail. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 5 h 40 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.
