Wudinna is a small town with a population of about 400. The regional area has a population of about 1,300. While the area was first settled in 1861, the town was not proclaimed until 1916. Wudinna is the hub of the region and offers a variety of shopping facilities, sports facilities and nature on its doorstep.
Temperatures can be as low as zero in winter time, but up as high as 50 in summer. And this is why you are here. GZ gives you a good look at the local swimming pool, so in summer time you will need to have stealth. There is a mural on the front wall of the swimming pool, painted by a group of community members. You will need to take a short stroll to see this.
Parking is available adjacent the playground area off Richards Avenue. There are a variety of activities available within the Apex Park playground so take some time to check it out while you are here, have a picnic lunch or BBQ. If you have been in the car too long, there is an adult exercise equipment area to get the joints moving again. There is also a stage area where our local functions are held.
