Twente



Bij Twente denk je misschien aan kleinschalig boerenlandschap met glooiende essen en kabbelende beekjes. Wist je dat je in deze regio ook uitgestrekte hoogveengebieden vindt. 
Twente is daarnaast ook bekend om zijn landgoederen.
Deze zijn veelal aangelegd door textielfabrikanten tijdens de hoogtijdagen van de textielindustrie.
Grote variatie dus in landschapstypen, plant- en diersoorten en cultuurhistorie.
Je zult wel denken: Twente, dat is toch die regio vol natuurgebieden, landgoederen en boerderijen. En je hebt nog gelijk ook.
Daarom kun je bij ons ook zo goed van de natuur genieten.
Fiets langs de mooie landschappen en geniet van de omgeving.


Twente


When you think of Twente, you might think of a small-scale farm landscape with rolling landscape and babbling brooks. Did you know that you will also find extensive raised moor areas in this region. Twente is also known for its country estates. These were often built by textile manufacturers during the heyday of the textile industry. So there is great variation in landscape types, plant and animal species and cultural history.
Twente, is a region full of nature reserves, country estates and farms. That is why you can enjoy nature so well with us. Cycle through the beautiful landscapes and enjoy.




De punt




Een punt (ook: tip) is een meestal scherpe, prikkende spits of een spits toelopende hoek aan het einde van een voorwerp. Bij sommige voorwerpen is het van belang dat ze een punt hebben, zoals een spijker, vork, riek of injectienaald die eigenlijk uit louter meer dan een punt bestaan. Hier wordt een beroep gedaan op het doorborend vermogen van de punt: door een punt in een voorwerp te steken gedraagt dit zich als een wig waardoor een voorwerp plaatselijk splijt en een gaatje wordt gevormd.

Here the piercing power of the tip is called upon: by inserting a tip into an object, it behaves like a wedge, splitting an object locally and forming a hole.
