The Fall City Library has been a focal point for knowledge, learning, and cultural exchange in the quaint town of Fall City. Originally, the library began as a modest collection of books from the Fall City Club that was housed in the United Methodist Church's Sunday school classrooms and furnished by a desk found floating down the river. In 1957 the library moved into the 18-by-24-foot honeymoon cottage on school property. In 1985 the library moved into the old bank building where the bank vault became the teen area. In 2008, the current 5,000 square foot Fall City Library was opened.
In addition to its role as a provider of books and educational materials, Fall City Library has evolved into a hub for various cultural and social activities. It hosts children's programs, author readings, book groups, and community events, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among Fall City's diverse population. Many of these programs are supported by the Friends of the Fall City Library. The Friends of the Fall City has generously sponsored this cache in celebration of the success of the 2023 annual Friends of the Fall City Library Plant Sale. It was placed on June 10th, 2023 for the annual Fall City Days. It is loaded with travel bugs, SWAG, and for the First to Find (FTF) a KCLS wallet containing gift certificates.
