Geocache Description:

This cache was hidden on Israel National Trail, which goes here in the Jerusalem mountains between springs.

Chandak in Arabic means moat, and hints on the elaborate water irrigation system that was built here maybe 2000 years ago.

The green trail continues east (you will notice in the stream pathway few small dams/terraces), and then climbs south to Ein Sarig and more springs (the springs trail).

And from here going north in a narrow path, you will get to what is nicknamed "The smaller wall" (western wall). The biggest terrace in Israel, an impressive wall (there is an existing cache there), which was used as a dam as a part of an irrigation system from the spring, along with underground channels.

After a series of small and dry cascades, and under the tunnel, you will reach Sorek stream.

This cache was hidden as part of the Israel National Trail Multi Cache - GCA7KQ2. At the top of the logsheet you should find the value for M2.

In case cache is gone take a photo of gz and let me know.

Hide is given in the spoiler. Please hide back well behind stones.
