MK23 Wildlife Trail E - English Oak
We can't do this trail without mention of the English Oak, surviving for many hundreds of years and used particularly in ship building over the centuries not only do most of the woods in the City have oaks but so does Grade II listed Campbell Park, the site of the main event of the MK23 week.
This is one of 26 caches celebrating the flora and fauna of Milton Keynes, it's not just concrete cows and roundabouts. How many of our different plants and animals can you spot in our City? Please do add photos to yours logs
All the caches are on a walk near Willen Lake and can be easily navigated. They are all available from running the Wherigo cartridge which is available here: MK23 Wildlife Trail
Thank you to the Parks Trust and MKGees for their help and permission to set these caches.
