Geocache Description:

23 July 2023, 10:00 - 11:00

The 12 Days of Cachemas (TDOC23) is a series of 78 caches, events and adventure labs placed across Victoria to celebrate Cachemas in July in 2023. The series is a joint initiative of Geocaching Victoria and the local community to release caches in a different category each day across the state. We hope you have as much fun finding this series, as we had placing them. Now on to the cache.

TDOC23: Monash CITO - Holmesglen/Jingella Reserve

Come along and join us at the first CITO to be held in the City of Monash.

Where: Holmesglen Reserve

Address: 25 Power Ave, Ashwood

When: Sunday 23/7/23

Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Holmesglen/Jingella Reserve is situated along the Gardiners Creek Trail, and near the Scotchmans Creek Trail and Waverley Rail Trail, making it an ideal reserve to play sport, go for a walk, run or scenic bike ride, or just a bit of geocaching.

The reserve features a water treatment wetland with a viewing platform, plus a sheltered BBQ, picnic tables, and drinking fountain.

There is also an accessible playspace on Power Avenue, with a sandpit, flying fox, swings, slide and other equipment.

Reserve sporting facilities include 2 rugby pitches, a cricket oval, cricket nets and sports lighting.

The CITO and parking can be accessed from Power Avenue.

Some equipment will be available for your use, but you are encouraged to bring your own.

Please return with your rubbish to the collection point by 11:00 am.

This event will be run in conjunction with Clean Up Australia Day.
