MK23 Wildlife Trail F - Fungi
A real autumn special is to see the wide range of fungi (or mushrooms as they're also known) across our parks and woods. Whilst autumn might be the best time you can see different types all year round.
You might see any of the following as highlighted by this recent Parks Trust blog; Scarlett Waxcap, Parasol Mushroom, Chicken of the Woods, Shaggy Ink Cap, Wood Funnel, Turkey Tail, Scarlet Elf Cap and King Alfred's Cake (I've honestly not made any of those up!).

This is one of 26 caches celebrating the flora and fauna of Milton Keynes, it's not just concrete cows and roundabouts. How many of our different plants and animals can you spot in our City? Please do add photos to yours logs
All the caches are on a walk near Willen Lake and can be easily navigated. They are all available from running the Wherigo cartridge which is available here: MK23 Wildlife Trail
Thank you to the Parks Trust and MKGees for their help and permission to set these caches.
