This is a replacement for the long standing and excellent GC3QGD1 Reigate Travel Bug Hotel, which was my first TB hotel I ever found. It was much loved with 674 finds and 153 favourite points, and I hope this replacement provides a good upgrade, yet keeps the essence of the original.
There are Parking waypoints provided. Please DO NOT park on the double yellow lines and please drive up Fort Lane to the Parking places. It's closer anyway, and you won't block any residents access.
The cache is designed as a "Cache and Dash" style, specifically for people to swap Trackables of all kinds as they pass on the M25. It's very easy to leave the M25 motorway at Junction 8 and quickly visit this TB Hotel. There's a short steep bank to negotiate, and the cache is 20m or so into the woods.
The cache itself has a bee theme - a reflection of the beautiful countryside nearby complete with its a wide variety of animals and insect life. Sadly, bees are in decline in the UK, so this cache is a celebration of the 270 different species of bee we have in this country..
Feel free to swap Trackables, please make sure you swap rather than just take trackables so we have some residents at all times :)
HOW TO OPEN THE CACHE
The cache is protected by a 4 digit padlock. You need to read the text above and answer the following (don't worry its easy!).
The code is
The number of bee species there are, followed by the number motorway junction you are at.
There are instructions on how to open the cache on the front.
Please be gentle with the cache, leave it as you found it and let me know if there are any issues.
Thanks for visiting and do come back soon!
