Geocache Description:

Geocache Description:

11% of the roads in Harford County are dirt or gravel. The county refers to them as "earth" roads. See GCA82N9 for more information.

These various caches take you around Harford County to "experience" these roads from the past.

Cache Description:

Nobles Mill Road extends from Harmony Church Road to Trappe Church Road. The unpaved section extends from Harmony Church Road to the bridge over Deer Creek. The road is rather hilly due to the maintenance of these roads, taking weather conditions into consideration.

Nobles Mill at Deer Creek was built in 1854. Formerly known as Grovers Mill, it takes its name from former owner William Noble.

The bridge over Deer Creek is considered a beautiful historic bridge. It is an "outstanding" example of Wrought Iron Bridge Company Pratt Trust Bridge. I have no idea what that means.
