AHS - Another Holey Stump!!
Figured with as much as we have been coming out here, we should hide a cache or two. This is one of our closer reference points for Parks on the Air, a ham radio thing...another hobby that daddy renruts participates in. Every time we run out here for a quick activation I check on the cache here in the parking lot. Sure is a sad, lonely cache...so I thought I would hide another one! This cache is also on the way to the Black Bear Cache and is in State Game Lands #297, so wear your orange for safety.
The walk to the cache is about 2 tenths of a mile up a grassy road/path that can get muddy and slick at times and at other times, it can be very overgrown. The cache is to the left off of the road about 15' into the brush...and there will be a log to climb over. You are looking for a guarded stump and in that stump will be a peanut butter jar with a RITR logsheet in a separate container, a CITO container and some trades including a mini painting of Signal. Please replace the cache as you found it. It shouldn't be all the way down, but rather, propped up close to the top.
