Geocache Description:

This is my first geocache I have hidden, and I am doing it for my Geocaching Girl Guide badge. I love Holly Hill and its lovely lakes.

Holly hill park is 35 hectors worth of lovely woodland that includes native trees like Oaks but also exotic tress and flowers (some of which were planted back in the 1870s).   In the middle of the woodland are two lakes where you can feed the ducks (if you do you are not allowed to feed them bread).  It’s a great place to go for walks and you can access the river Hamble.

Parking is free and it is open all year round. Due to terrain it is not easily wheelchair accessible. Nearby is Holly Hill Leisure Centre, which has a children play park and often there is a coffee/ice cream stand.

You can find the cache off one of the main paths.  It is a small square container. As well as finding this geocache there is also the DiscoDiamondDiva’s ‘Box Slug’ box to be found in the same park.

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of Fareham Bourgh Council.
