The rising of the sun ( CITO 2018 )}

Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan at 12,389 ft.
It was recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site in 2013.

This CITO event will be held from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, at the Summit of Mt.Fuji on Sunday, August 27th.
Please come up to top of Mt.Fuji and help clean up this beautiful area.
Let's meet in at the posted coordinates in order to CITO.
And so, exchange to Travel Bugs, Geocoins. Finally, sign the Logbook.
Bring your travel bugs for discovering and exchanging.
Take the opportunity to meet other caches, help the environment, and have fun.
Also when climbing, please collect garbage as much as possible if you find garbage.

Of cource, we must prioritize the safety first.
If the weather is not good at the day then will be canceled CITO event at summit.
We will let you know if we will hold an event by 7:00 am on August 26th.

Please prepare proper gear to climb the top.
Although the climbing season is in Summer, the temperature of the top may be below the freezing point.
You must bring proper mountain boots, snow suits and coldproof glove.

Do you climb from where? If your plan is decided then post the "Trail name" to the Log.
(EX: Trail of [Yoshida] [Subashiri] [Gotenba] [Fujinomiya] etc )

* Please bring your own work gloves and garbage bags for CITO.

富士山CITO。山頂でゴミ拾いイベントを行います。
CITOイベントは 8月27日(日曜日) 午前8から9時まで、剣ヶ峰周辺にて行います。
上記の座標付近でCITO活動の他、ジオコイン・トラベルバグの交換を予定しています。
もちろん、登山開始からできるだけCITO活動をして下さい。ゴミを見つけたら拾いましょう。
世界遺産に登録された富士山を美しくするために、皆さんのご参加をお待ちしています。

イベントは安全第一で実施します。天候が良くない場合などは、山頂でのイベントは中止します。
イベントを実施するかは、前日 8月26日(土曜日) 午前7:00までに Announcement としてポストしますが、その後の天候状況等により変更する場合がありますので、予めご了承下さい。

富士登山には十分な装備で参加して下さい。
夏でも富士山頂は0℃程度まで気温が低下することがあります。
登山靴・防寒着・手袋・ライトは必須です。

世界遺産に登録されたこともあり、富士登山はとても混雑が予想されます。
常に時間には余裕を持って行動し、山頂までお越し下さい。
