Have you wanted to learn some new cache creation ideas? Do you have some creative cache containers you might want to share and discuss? This event is 100% devoted to cache creation, and we will also make a few caches while you watch!
This is an outdoor workshop-type event to learn and to share tricks and tips for creating and making quality caches and effective camo.
We'll share ideas about container selection, as well as camo painting, taping, hanging and tethering. We will also talk about options for container hide locations which lead to positive finder and owner experiences, especially for avoiding muggled hides as a CO. Cache water- and weather-proofing methods will be shown as well.
We will also discuss more complex ideas including gadget caches and the use of more unusual camo materials. Additionally, several experienced geocache creators will be here to answer questions, offer suggestions, and trouble-shoot problems you may have..
This event is intended for all cache maker experience levels - from beginner to experienced hiders. If you would like to share your own cache creation ideas, methods, and techniques, feel free to come and talk about them at this event, we hope to learn from you as well!
