Jason Ringenberg is a singer-songwriter, originally from Illinois but now based in Nashville, Tennessee. He rose to fame as the frontman of Jason & The Scorchers, who played a blend of country and punk rock that launched the Country Rock, Alternative Country and Cowpunk subgenres of their respective musical styles.
Following his time with the Scorchers, he also has a solo career with more than a couple albums under his belt, and also has a series of kids albums under the name Farmer Jason.
